The LONGINES CHI CLASSICS BASEL are ready – today, the final preparations were completed. The arena was spruced up, illusionist Peter Marvey diligently rehearsed his impressive show, including a flying carriage, flower arrangements were finalized, exhibitor stands were set up, and restaurants and food stalls were prepared. The most important protagonists of the tournament have also arrived – the horses. They moved into their luxurious twelve-square-meter stalls and were able to get their first taste of the arena atmosphere with their riders.

In addition, they were presented to the veterinarians for inspection, who had to decide whether the horses were fit to compete in the St. Jakobshalle. The sport begins on Thursday. Among other things, a competition for U25 riders and three international show jumping events, with the highlight being the “Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois Prize,” are on the program. The opening ceremony of the LONGINES CHI CLASSICS BASEL will take place at 5:45 PM, followed by Peter Marvey’s first show performance.
