The LONGINES CHI CLASSICS BASEL are setting the course for the future: LONGINES has extended its commitment as title partner and timekeeper until 2031, whilst Bank J. Safra Sarasin has committed to remaining a Gold Partner until 2028.

This long-term extension of the title sponsorship further strengthens the stability and international standing of the LONGINES CHI CLASSICS BASEL. “We are delighted to continue the successful partnership between Longines and the LONGINES CHI CLASSICS BASEL. This competition is one of the most prestigious equestrian events in the world and embodies tradition, elegance and performance – qualities that represent the spirit of Longines since its foundation almost two centuries ago”, says Patrick Aoun, President and CEO of Longines.

Bank J. Safra Sarasin, which has been supporting the tournament as the Presenting Partner of the LONGINES FEI JUMPING WORLD CUP™ since 2011, remains on board and is thus a key part of the event’s development and positioning. “Long-standing personal relationships spanning generations are extremely valuable to us, and we nurture them with great care. This is also reflected in the LONGINES CHI CLASSICS BASEL. It is an honour for us to have been associated with this outstanding equestrian event since its inception, and we look forward to further exciting competitions”, says Yves A. Sarasin, Head of Private Banking.

These renewed contract extensions underline the mutual trust and shared commitment to continuity, quality and international standing. “This certainty in planning for the coming years is hugely important to us. We are incredibly grateful to be shaping the future with these loyal partners by our side”, says CHI President Thomas Straumann.
